Work out what you and your family already know about your ancestry (for example the names of any of your ancestors and their occupations, as well as any birth / christening / marriage / death dates and locations) and then use this link to email Tessa and see how she can help you discover more.

Research results are provided via email or A4 paper format via post. Extra copies containing the family tree in pdf/GedCOM/FTM files are available too, when a family tree is created during the research.

Unlike the services of many other genealogists, the price that you pay for the research includes all expenses, apart from any travel costs that are incurred (e.g. train fares when visiting archives).

The current fee is £25 per hour, but the number of hours are determined by each client's budget and there is no minimum commission.  For example, £100 would cover 4 hours of research and consolidation (in one recent commission, the client's ancestry was traced back more than 100 years in the first hour, so this is certainly value for money!). Payment can be made via PayPal or cheque in GBP Sterling (postal address available on request via email).
