For help with your genealogy and family history, just
contact Ms. Tessa
C. P. Szczepanik and mention what you already know about your family (for example the names
of any of your ancestors and their occupations as well as any
birth/christening/marriage/death dates and locations) and she can help you discover more! Research results are provided in A4 paper format, and extra
copies as well as a CD containing the family tree in pdf/GedCOM/FTM
files are available.
Unlike the services of many other genealogists, the price that you
pay for the research includes all expenses, apart
from any travel costs that are incurred (such as visiting the British
Library or the National Archives at Kew).
Payment is by cheque at the moment to “Ms T. C. P. Szczepanik”,
preferably in GB Pounds Sterling or US Dollars but PayPal will be established as an
alternative soon. Please send a cheque for the amount that you
want to spend on the research and a receipt will be mailed or emailed to you once
the cheque has been received. Payment needs to be received after the initial free
correspondence and before major research is carried out so that some of
the money can be used for expenses such as ordering certificates that
would further the research. The current fee is £20 per hour, but the number of hours are determined by each client's budget and there is no minimum commission. For example, a cheque for £100 would cover 5 hours of research and consolidation (in
one recent commission, the client's ancestry was traced back 100 years in the first hour, so this is
certainly value for money!).
